GOP Senator Suggests Possible US Military Action Against Russia Over Ukraine

Senator Roger Wicker Hints at Broad Range of Military Options, Including Nuclear

Senator Roger Wicker, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, suggested that the United States could consider a significant military intervention, including ground troops, in defense of Ukraine amid escalating Russian military presence along Ukraine’s borders.

Speaking in an interview with Fox News host Neil Cavuto, Wicker emphasized that “all options” should remain open to protect Ukraine’s sovereignty. Although Cavuto did not mention nuclear weapons, Wicker clarified that US policy includes keeping nuclear options on the table for potential conflicts, a stance he reiterated in earlier remarks on CNN.
