Tesla’s In-Car Gaming Feature Raises Concerns After Discovery by Driver

Tesla Owner Stunned to Find Video Games Playable While Driving

Last August, Vince Patton, a retired broadcast journalist from Portland, Oregon, made a startling discovery while watching a YouTube video about Tesla’s new in-car entertainment features. The video revealed that Tesla owners could now play video games on the car’s touch-screen dashboard while the vehicle is in motion.

Intrigued, Patton decided to test it himself with his 2021 Tesla Model 3. He drove to an empty parking lot and activated the game “Sky Force Reloaded” from the car’s menu, performing a few loops to confirm the feature worked while the car was moving.

“I was just dumbfounded that, yes, sure enough, this sophisticated video game came up,” Patton said, shocked by the capability.
