Irish leader reaffirms solidarity with Ukraine during visit to war-affected areas

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky conveyed his appreciation to Ireland for its support against the Russian invasion during a meeting with Irish Taoiseach Micheal Martin in Kyiv. On Wednesday, Martin reiterated Ireland’s unwavering solidarity with Ukraine amidst the ongoing conflict.

Earlier in the day, Martin toured the heavily damaged suburbs of Kyiv, where he observed firsthand the destruction caused by Russian forces’ attempts to seize the capital. His visit underscored Ireland’s commitment to standing with the Ukrainian people during the crisis.
