The Sex and the City Reboot Reunites Fans with Carrie, Mr. Big, and a New Wardrobe
Carrie Bradshaw is back in And Just Like That, the highly anticipated Sex and the City reboot that fans have eagerly awaited for over a decade. As the beloved fashion journalist returns to our screens, viewers are eager to see how her life has evolved in 2021. Questions abound: Has Carrie mastered the iPhone? Is the spark with Mr. Big still alive? And, of course, what has become of Samantha? But above all, the key question remains: what will she wear?
Although legendary costume designer Patricia Field, who defined the show’s iconic style, was unavailable due to her work on Emily in Paris season two, the reboot taps into her legacy with the talents of Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago. Rogers, who worked alongside Field on the original SATC series, and Santiago, who contributed to both SATC films, step in to continue the show’s legacy of chic fashion. “It was just like a big old reunion,” Rogers tells The Independent. “All of the girls came in with really fresh attitudes.”
