Households Brace for Unprecedented Increases in Essential Costs
The cost of living crisis is about to escalate further on 1 April, when households face the largest rise in energy costs in living memory. Energy bills are expected to jump by a staggering 54 percent, equating to an increase of almost £700, pushing annual bills to just under £2,000.
In addition to this, National Insurance contributions are set to rise by 1.25 percent, further straining household budgets.
