Fake Fundraising Email Claiming to Share Nuclear Codes Debunked

Misleading Image Circulates, But Fact Check Confirms It Was Not Sent by Trump’s PAC

A recent claim that former President Donald Trump’s political action committee (PAC) shared nuclear codes in a fundraising email has been proven false. The image, which purportedly showed a fundraising appeal from Trump’s PAC, was revealed to be doctored, according to a fact check by the Associated Press. The altered email, which falsely stated, “The nuke codes are 15-25-50-80” and solicited donations between $15 and $80, was never sent by the Save America PAC.
