The Scottish player, best known for his 2006 world title, has been accused of offences involving a young boy and girl spanning over two decades.

Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott, 47, has been charged with historical child sexual abuse offences in Scotland. He is accused of abusing a girl—starting when she was about ten in the 1990s—and a boy, beginning around age seven, with incidents alleged to have continued until 2010. Following these charges, the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association has suspended him from competition. The case is set for a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow this June, sending shockwaves throughout the snooker community.
