Iconic Rapper Steals Spotlight in Mysterious Ensemble
Kanye West made a surprising entrance at the inaugural couture show of Balenciaga, helmed by creative director Demna Gvasalia, where he concealed his identity with a silk scarf. The rapper took his place several seats away from British racing star Lewis Hamilton and NBA athlete James Harden during the Paris fashion event on Wednesday morning.
Although his face was shrouded, the distinctive YEEZY Foam Runners made it easy for attendees to recognize West. The scarf featured an aggressive design, showcasing a black panther with its teeth and claws on display. Reports indicate that he complemented the look with a black variant of a puffer jacket, which is part of his recent collaboration with GAP.
This puffer jacket, known as the Round Jacket, was initially introduced in June, when West wore a blue edition. Constructed from recycled nylon, it retails for US$200 (approximately £145) and is currently available exclusively for pre-order to customers in the United States.
