Raiders Wide Receiver Accused of Impairment Following Collision That Left Woman Dead
Henry Ruggs III, a prominent wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, is facing DUI charges after a tragic car accident early Tuesday morning that resulted in the death of a woman. The crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. when Ruggs, 22, was reportedly driving a Chevrolet Corvette that collided with the back of a Toyota RAV4.
Upon arriving at the scene, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police found the Toyota in flames, with the victim later discovered deceased inside. Authorities state Ruggs remained at the crash site and “showed signs of impairment.” He was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
