Reports Reveal Demoralized Russian Troops Struggling Amid Strong Ukrainian Resistance

Russian Soldiers Face Confusion and Low Supplies as Ukrainian Forces Hold Kyiv

On the third day of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, reports indicate that Russian forces are increasingly demoralized, hungry, and struggling to advance. According to a senior U.S. official, Russian soldiers were overheard expressing surprise at the strong Ukrainian resistance, with one soldier reportedly stating, “We don’t know who to shoot—they all look like us.” In the western city of Lviv, locals told reporters that Russian troops seemed confused about their mission and unclear on why they were on Ukrainian soil.

Constantine Yevtushenko, a resident, described the troops as “kids,” saying they were low on supplies and simply following orders. Despite continuous Russian attempts to seize Kyiv, Ukrainian forces have managed to repel them over two consecutive nights. An offensive was anticipated on Saturday night, with Ukrainians bracing for another round of attacks.
