The Uyghur Tribunal’s Findings Confirm Genocide in Xinjiang

Report Reveals Atrocities Against Uyghur People in Xinjiang, Denouncing Systematic Abuse and Forced Labor

The Uyghur Tribunal’s recent report leaves no room for doubt: genocide is being committed against the Uyghur people in Xinjiang, Western China. This investigation stands as the most comprehensive and authoritative account of the horrific conditions faced by the Uyghurs, and it demands the attention of all who value human rights.

The Tribunal’s findings are both devastating and too horrific to ignore. The report describes the systematic detainment of over a million Uyghurs, Kazakhs, Uzbeks, and other Muslim minorities, many of whom are ripped from their homes and families. These individuals are subjected to cruel and inhumane conditions in camps, which China initially denied even existed. Torture, sexual abuse, and systematic violence are used as tools of subjugation.

The scale of the abuse is staggering, with forced sterilizations and abortions intended to reduce the Uyghur population, causing birth rates to plummet by as much as two-thirds in some areas. Furthermore, the use of forced labor, both in Xinjiang and across China’s broader economy, is integrated into a system that exploits the Uyghur people for economic gain.
