4 Killed in Suspected Murder-Suicide at Georgia Home

Authorities are investigating a tragic incident in Coweta County where four people were found dead, including one person believed to have taken their own life.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, four people were found dead in Coweta County, Georgia, in what police suspect to be a murder-suicide. The county sheriff’s office reported that deputies responded to multiple emergency calls at approximately 1 a.m. and discovered two bodies in a driveway and a third near the doorway of a residence on Crabapple Court.

When deputies arrived, a fourth individual reportedly fled inside the residence. Moments later, a gunshot was heard from within the home. Following this, a SWAT team was deployed to secure the area, ultimately locating the fourth deceased person inside.

Authorities have yet to release the names of the deceased as they work to notify family members. The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office is currently treating the incident as a murder-suicide and plans to provide further details as the investigation progresses.

Nearby resident Brandi Wright, who lives close to the scene, told local NBC affiliate WXIA that she initially mistook the gunshot for thunder. “It’s just crazy,” Wright said, expressing her shock and concerns for safety in the neighborhood.
