An explosion struck the upper floor of a Chicago apartment building in the South Austin neighborhood on Tuesday morning, leaving at least six people injured and rushed to nearby hospitals. The blast hit the three-story, 36-unit building around 9:30 a.m., leading the Chicago Fire Department to deploy over ten ambulances and request additional personnel to search the structure for anyone trapped.
