Fire at China Telecom Tower is Contained After Intensive Firefighting Effort

A massive fire erupted at a 42-story skyscraper in Changsha, China, on Friday, sending thick plumes of smoke into the air. The 218-meter building, owned by China Telecom, was heavily damaged, with several floors reportedly engulfed in flames. Emergency services responded quickly, deploying 280 firefighters who were able to extinguish the blaze. Despite the scale of the fire, no fatalities or injuries were reported, according to China Telecom. The incident has raised concerns about fire safety in high-rise buildings, with social media videos showing intense flames and thick smoke emanating from the structure.
