Man Arrested for Attempted Murder After Father and Daughter Shot in West London Car

32-year-old faces charges after an attack in Ladbroke Grove leaves an eight-year-old girl and her father with gunshot wounds.

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a shooting incident in west London left a young girl and her father injured. Jazz Reid, 32, has been accused of two counts of attempted murder, as well as possession of a firearm and ammunition, following the shooting on Sunday in Ladbroke Grove.

The eight-year-old girl underwent surgery on Monday and is currently in a stable condition. Her 34-year-old father sustained injuries that could be life-changing. At the time of the attack, they were in the car with the girl’s two-year-old sibling and their 32-year-old mother, both of whom were unharmed.

The incident took place around 5.30pm on Southern Row, and local residents have expressed their shock at the violence. Reid, a resident of Kensington in west London, is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
