National Television Awards 2022: Surprises and Anticipation as Voting Closes

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield Missing from TV Presenter Nominations

The National Television Awards 2022 are set to air tonight, October 13, after months of anticipation, with the ceremony scheduled to broadcast on ITV at 8:00 pm. Among the top nominees are popular series like Peaky Blinders, Heartstopper, and Bridgerton, each receiving multiple nods for various categories.

However, in an unexpected turn, This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, who are typically nominated for the TV Presenter award, did not make the shortlist this year. The voting for the NTAs closed earlier today, just hours before the live event.
