Dutch Journalist Sjoerd den Daas Interrupted During Broadcast as Security Manhandles Him

A TV reporter covering the Winter Olympics was abruptly manhandled by a security official during a live broadcast from Beijing. Sjoerd den Daas, working for Dutch broadcaster NOS, was accosted by the official, who was wearing a red armband.

As den Daas attempted to continue his report, the official pushed him away from the camera, resulting in the broadcaster cutting back to the studio. The incident occurred amidst heightened security at the Games, raising questions about press freedom during the event.
